About
The Texas Signal is a progressive, fact-based media company. Our mission is to build a first-of-its kind media ecosystem in Texas to help get the progressive message out - to give Democrats a media signal. Right now, conservatives have their own media empire, progressives don’t.
Meanwhile, traditional news outlets in Texas are closing, downsizing, or saturating their coverage with Trump (read: ratings). More about the Republican advantage in the media landscape is here.
The Texas Signal’s political and policy content is edgy but fact-driven across all of our products, including this site, our political newsletter, podcasts, and events. Credibility is our currency.
In addition to producing quality content, we ensure the content is digitally delivered to key communities across Texas.
For breaking news, confidential tips, and daily pitches, get in touch with us at editor@thetexassignal.com. We’d love to hear from you. Texas is massive and a ton of stuff isn’t getting covered.
